Mavic Hot Ride Base Layer Review + Fit

This thing is hot! I’m so sorry. I had to say it. I am extremely impressed with this base layer. Most of my base layers cost well over $100.00 Canadian and when I saw this on bikeinn.com for $62.99, I threw it into the shopping cart. Where I purchased it, I am not sponsored.

Seamless.

I opened it up and to my surprise I was incredibly impressed. This base layer is tight, light, and ready and for the summer. Did I mention how great it feels? I was so impressed with it, I was thinking of buying another one since it was something I wore to the gym and on the bike without having to change clothes!

I am 5’7 168lb with a 39.5 chest size.
I’m just so happy wearing it.
looking good from the back!
Stretchy bottom hem. I love it.
At the gym. A motivation tool to lose weight.
It does get dirty quick though.
The box

Pros

  • Mid Range Price ($62.99)
  • light and great feeling material
  • minimal with a clean logo on the front
  • Snug fit and a nice length to be able to take it to the gym (not just for cycling)
  • A very reputable brand in the cycling industry

Cons

  • Only one color available, white.
  • Got very dirty after the first use.

I can’t think of many cons. Would I buy this again? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes! Next week I will be reviewing my most expensive base layer to date! Will it be just as good? Would you buy Mavic?
