That’s me! Your host, Jason! (in Madrid!)

Hello World, My name is Jason!

I have been wanting to create this website for years! Why? I have asked many questions online, and blogs have always helped me find my answers. I also get to read the individual’s opinions and suggestions on things I am interested in. People are interesting and blogs are proof. It’s time to give back and share the knowledge I have acquired.

Sharing is caring. Thanks to McMaster’s Class PUB 111: Building Social Media Relationships C21, it is finally coming to fruition. This course helped me begin the process into my web content creation side gig. What is this blog about? Let me tell you in an unordered list:

  • Cycling
  • Triathlon
  • Fitness
  • Men’s Fashion
  • My Travels
  • Technology
  • My thoughts and perspective(s)

Who am I?

Paris Bike Ride
Me (in Paris!)

This is me in a nutshell:

  • I have worked in IT for more than 14 years professionally and I do not plan on stopping. It has helped me in various ways throughout my life.
  • I have ridden bicycles all of my life. This has also helped me in various ways in my life.
  • I have worked out for over 15 years. Can you guess what I will say next? It has also helped me in various ways throughout my life.
  • I have been fortunate to travel a lot. When I travel, It is to learn, explore, and understand different cultures and continually grow my knowledge of people and society.
  • I enjoy looking at fashion to look good. I grew up being told to dress well since that is how people see you. I dress and refine my style.
  • I am a Salvadoran Canadian who can also speak Spanish. I embrace my Hispanic upbringing and culture. I was born in Canada.
  • I have many goals and I share them to show the progression and how close I am to completing them.

I am a very motivated, disciplined, and determined individual who strives to be the best. If I want something, I will work hard for it and get it. I love creating goals and working on myself to improve myself in every aspect of life. I’d like to give back to the world and that is my end goal. To give back to this world since I’ve been given so much. Let me show you what I can give back and do.

UPDATE OCT 2023 – I wrote the above over 3-4 years ago. I have changed as a person and modified this page while keeping the original parts of it. I can’t believe how much I’ve grown as an individual. I may start writing scholarly pieces on this blog too!

UPDATE SEPT 2024 – I have left the world of IT (after 15 years!) and have started a temporary role in law enforcement. My true goal and intention is to crush the LSAT, go to law school, and become a lawyer. It has been something I have dreamed of but never told others until lately. Today (September 15th 2024), I will blog about the LSAT journey. This is my official public notice.
